touchONCOLOGY were circulating copies of their latest edition of Oncology & Hematology Review Volume 9 Issue 1- a free-to-access, peer-reviewed journal aimed at the US market, made up of cutting-edge review articles written by some of the most respected physicians in the world. With both ‘metastatic melanoma’ and ‘immune therapy’ being topical issues currently, an article on Combination and Sequencing of Therapies for the Treatment of Metastatic Melanoma by Drs Joseph, Sherry, Sullivan & Tarhini, was of particular interest.
touchONCOLOGY were also profiling the latest version of their free online resource for oncologists touchONCOLOGY.com, which now contains a host of rich media including some of the latest video presentations from ASCO 2013.
ASCO is the largest professional oncology society in the world, committed to conquering cancer through research, education, prevention and delivery of high quality patient care. Their annual meeting is the largest oncology convention in the world, bringing together more than 25,000 clinical oncologists from around the globe.
The exhibition was an overwhelming success with hundreds of oncologists subscribing for both the print journal and the Monthly Scientific eNewsletter. The print publications were also flying off the shelves with the full shipment of the latest journal running out on the second day of the exhibition.
Barney Kent, Managing Director of Touch Medical Media, said: Having a presence and supporting such an event is extremely important for us as it provides an opportunity not just to let the oncology community know what we have to offer, but also to engage physicians and find out how best to meet the fast growing need to be kept up-to-date with the latest clinical developments in both a timely and easily digestible fashion.
touchONCOLOGY will also be exhibiting at The European Cancer Congress (Amsterdam 27th September 1st October) where they will be profiling their online products and European Journal, European Oncology & Haematology.
